We stand behind every product we build. If you're not satisfied, we offer refunds within the applicable period for your country — no complex hoops, no unfair barriers. Your trust matters more than any single transaction.

01Our General Refund Commitment

Dapper develops digital products — webapps, programs, and experiences — intended to create real, lasting impact. We believe in the quality of what we build. If a product does not meet your expectations, we want to make it right.

Our general commitment is a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on all digital products from the date of purchase or first access, whichever is earlier. In many jurisdictions, applicable consumer protection law grants you extended rights beyond this base period, as detailed below.

The applicable refund period for your purchase is determined by the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Where local law grants longer rights than our base policy, local law prevails.

03Brazil — CDC (Código de Defesa do Consumidor)

Under Article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (Law 8.078/1990), consumers who purchase products outside a physical establishment (including all online purchases) have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of the transaction or product delivery, whichever is later.

This right applies regardless of whether you have accessed or consumed the digital product. Upon exercising this right, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid, including any fees charged, within 30 days of your refund request.

To exercise this right, contact us at dappercontact6@gmail.com. Brazilian consumers may also file complaints with Procon or access the consumidor.gov.br platform.

04European Union — Consumer Rights Directive

EU consumers benefit from a 14-day withdrawal period under Directive 2011/83/EU, applied from the date of purchase. This right applies to digital content (downloads, online programs, streaming services) purchased online.

Important exception: If you explicitly request and consent to immediate access to the digital product before the 14-day period expires, and acknowledge that this waives your right of withdrawal, the right of withdrawal may not apply once access has begun. This waiver will be clearly presented at checkout — it is never assumed.

If no explicit waiver was given, your 14-day right of withdrawal is fully preserved regardless of whether you accessed the product. Dapper will process refunds within 14 days of receiving a valid withdrawal request, using the same payment method as the original transaction.

EU consumers may also contact their national consumer authority or submit disputes via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

05United States

The United States does not have a single federal law mandating refunds for digital products. However, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requires businesses to honor stated refund policies and prohibits deceptive practices.

Dapper applies its 7-day base policy for US customers. California residents retain additional rights under the California Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) for data-related concerns.

If you believe a product was misrepresented or did not perform as advertised, you may request a refund by contacting us within 7 days. Cases of product misrepresentation or failure to deliver are handled with priority and are eligible for full refunds regardless of the standard period.

06Germany — Widerrufsrecht (BGB §355)

German consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht) under §355 of the Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch (BGB) and the EU Consumer Rights Directive as transposed into German law.

The withdrawal period begins on the day of purchase. You may exercise this right by sending a clear statement (email is sufficient) to dappercontact6@gmail.com. No reason is required.

Upon valid withdrawal, Dapper will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs (if any), within 14 days. Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Erlöschen des Widerrufsrechts: The withdrawal right expires before the end of the 14-day period only if you explicitly consented to immediate service delivery and acknowledged the loss of withdrawal right in a mandatory checkbox at purchase — which we will not pre-check on your behalf.

07Other Countries

For users in countries not listed above, Dapper's 7-day base refund policy applies. If your country's mandatory consumer protection laws grant you a longer refund period or additional rights, those rights always take precedence and will be honored.

We commit to never using jurisdictional ambiguity as a reason to deny a refund that a reasonable consumer in your country would be entitled to under local law. If in doubt, contact us and we will assess your situation in good faith.

08Eligible & Non-Eligible Products

Eligible for refund:

  • All digital programs, webapps, and courses sold by Dapper, within the applicable refund window.
  • Products that fail to deliver the described functionality.
  • Products where access was never granted after confirmed payment.
  • Any product where the description was materially different from what was delivered.

Not eligible for refund (outside mandatory legal rights):

  • Products explicitly waived at purchase by the customer (EU/DE only, with valid consent record).
  • Requests submitted after the applicable refund period has expired without legal basis for extension.
  • Accounts suspended for violation of our Terms of Use.
  • Requests that appear to exploit the refund policy repeatedly across multiple purchases.

When in doubt, contact us. We assess each case individually and always aim for a fair resolution. Mandatory statutory rights are never overridden by our internal policies.

09How to Request a Refund

Include your purchase details

Provide your full name, email used at purchase, order/transaction ID, product purchased, and date of purchase.

Optionally share your reason

You are not required to justify your refund request within the applicable window. However, feedback helps us improve.

Receive confirmation & refund

We will confirm receipt within 48 business hours and process your refund within the applicable timeline (see below).

10Processing & Timelines

Once a valid refund request is approved:

  • Approval notification: within 2 business days of receiving your request.
  • Refund processing: initiated within 5 business days of approval.
  • Credit to your account: 5–14 business days depending on your bank and payment method. Credit card refunds may take up to 2 billing cycles to appear.
  • Currency: refunds are issued in the same currency as the original transaction.

EU and German consumers: we comply with the 14-day refund processing requirement under the Consumer Rights Directive. Brazilian consumers: we comply with the 30-day maximum under CDC Art. 42.

11Chargebacks & Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

If a chargeback is initiated without prior contact with our support team, we reserve the right to: temporarily suspend your account pending investigation; provide evidence to the payment processor to contest the chargeback; and report repeated abusive chargebacks to fraud prevention databases, where permitted by law.

This policy does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection law. If we are unable to resolve your issue, you remain free to escalate to your bank, payment provider, or relevant consumer authority.
